Montblanc Meisterstück Olympic Heritage Chamonix 1924 Doue Classic Grey Resin with Platinum Trim SE Rollerball Pen
To mark the 100th anniversary of the Meisterstück in 2024, Montblanc is paying tribute to the origins of this legendary writing instrument with a collection inspired by the flair of the 1924 Olympic Games in Chamonix. By a happy coincidence, the brand introduced the writing instrument that would become one of its most popular creations - its Meisterstück - in 1924. At the same time, the first Winter Olympics took place in Chamonix, France, at the foot of Mont Blanc that same year. At their core, both Montblanc and the 1924 Winter Olympics in Chamonix embody human excellence - be it in craftsmanship or sport. The Doué Edition combines a body made of precious resin with a blue-grey color scheme - a reference to the official colors of the Winter Games. The platinum-plated cap also features an engraving of the mountain landscape of the Chamonix Valley. The Olympic rings adorn the ring of the cap head in the form of an engraving as part of the Olympic Heritage logo. They are surrounded by a wreath of leaves, which was used to crown the heads of the winners in ancient times. The cap itself features the engraved lettering "Olympic Games Chamonix 1924" with a border that is based on the one on the cover of the official games report from that time. The anniversary cap ring features the two numbers "1924" and "2024", which recall the significance of these two years. This edition is crowned by the Montblanc emblem in the cap top, which is set in coral-colored precious resin, Montblanc's signature color. International Olympic Committee - All Rights Reserved.
